The provisions of the Terms of Use, such as jurisdiction and choice of law, and risks and limits of liability, shall also apply in connection with this Privacy Policy. This does not detract from the provisions of any agreements with users of the Company site (as defined below) ("you" or "the user"). The Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy are hereinafter jointly called "Terms of Use". Changes in the Terms of Use shall be in force from their publication on the Company site. The Site and any platform that the Company operates or makes available are for convenience referred to jointly as "the Company site". It is clarified that this Privacy Policy applies to all views, attempts to use, and use of the Company site or parts thereof. It is also clarified that entering the Company site, registration for Company services, and use of the Company platform constitute consent on your part to the Privacy Policy without limitation or reservation. If you do not consent to the Privacy Policy or the Terms of Use, you are asked to refrain from using the Company site. If you enter into any individual agreement with the Company, this constitutes consent to the Privacy Policy and you may not withdraw such consent except according to the terms of such agreement. For terms that are not defined in the Privacy Policy, the definitions given in the Terms of Use shall apply. In the event of any discrepancy between this Privacy Policy and any individual purchase agreement with a Company customer, the terms of the individual agreement shall prevail. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to explain the Company's practice regarding users' privacy, how the Company uses information submitted by users or collected by it when its services are used. This Privacy Policy is expressed using the masculine form for convenience only and applies equally to all users. You have no legal obligation to submit any personal information unless you have entered into an individual agreement with the Company – in which case you must provide the information required by law to execute the agreement.

General

When you use Company services, the Site collects information about you. Some of this data identifies you personally, such as your name and other identifying details like address and contact information. This is data that you provide knowingly, for example when you register to obtain services on the Company site. Some data collected by the Company does not identify you personally. This is cumulative statistical data, such as advertisements you have viewed on the Site, pages you visited, offers and services that interested you, and the IP address from which you contacted the Site. If you think that your privacy has been breached when using Company services, please contact us by email at privacy@rhino-eco.com.

Registration for Company Services

Whenever you are required to submit personal details—when registering for Company services or asking for a Company representative to contact you—or as part of the documentation required to enter an agreement with the Company and its partners, you will only be asked for information that is directly necessary for that purpose.

Types of Information Collected and Manner of Collection

When you use Company services, user information is collected as follows:

User data

When using the Company site and services—for example when entering details on the Site or other sites that advertise the Company, in emails and other correspondence or conversations with Company representatives, or when completing and signing agreements with the Company—you may provide identifying details about yourself ("user data"), such as your first and last name, address, email address, gender, ID number, telephone number, date of birth, bank account details, credit card details, and more. User data may also be provided by you during calls with Company representatives (including recorded calls). It is also possible that user data may be collected by the Company from third parties, for example to verify details you provide. You hereby give your consent to the collection of such data (including from third parties) and its use as specified in the Terms of Use.

Technical data

The Company also collects data about users who visit its Site and use its services, including data that may create the need to open a user account and information about the user's internet usage habits, offers and services that interest the user, and data obtained from the browser, including the user's IP address. The Company may store such information as data that is not personally identified. The Company collects data about your energy system and your actions in relation to the services provided by the Company in your personal zone.

Aggregate data

The Company collects aggregate data, statistical data and other data derived from the user data and/or technical data that the Company collects.

Consent

The consents you give under this Privacy Policy for the use of user data shall also apply to "information" as defined in the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 ("Privacy Protection Law") and to other data that are not necessarily "information", such as data about your private matters and your personal life, technical data, aggregate data, statistical data, and more. This does not detract from the Company's right to use such data unless that use is explicitly banned by law. The Company's services are not aimed at children under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a person under the age of 18 uses the Company's services, such use shall be blocked and we shall make our best efforts to delete any of their personal information stored by us.

Advertising and Direct Mailing

The Company may use information in its possession to offer users targeted advertising of products and/or services it deems suitable, and to tailor the Company site and adverts appearing on the Company site according to usage habits and preferences. You agree that the Company may use information collected about you to contact you and send you content including advertising material and direct mailings as defined by law. Giving Information to Third Parties

The Company may transfer information (including by granting access) to third parties in connection with Company services and business activity, including:

  • To monitor system activity when connecting to a component of the system manufacturer and make such monitoring available on the Company site
  • For purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, to implement purposes permitted by law, and to further the Company's legitimate interests

  • If the Company has obtained your consent to such transfer, either explicitly or implicitly
  • In cooperation with Company partners during regular activity and/or to provide Company services to customers, for example transferring data to professionals handling system installation and maintenance, or to third parties providing services required to operate the personal zone ("external interface"). The external interface is separate from the Company site and subject to the terms of use of the relevant manufacturer. This does not affect the Company's right to obtain data from the manufacturer and/or the system by way of the external interface
  • If the third party is a parent company, subsidiary, or associated company of the Company as defined in the Companies Law
  • When required by law, in legal proceedings, or for required reporting to a competent authority, including if the Company receives a legal order instructing it to deliver personal and/or other information about you to a third party, and when the Company believes in good faith it has a moral duty to do so
  • In the event of any dispute, allegation, claim, demand, or legal proceedings between you and the Company and/or any of its agents

Where allowed by law, in certain circumstances you may view information about you held in our database. If you find any incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or out-of-date information, you may request a correction by contacting us at privacy@rhino-eco.com.

Changes in Privacy Policy

In the event of material changes to this Privacy Policy—relating to use of personal data or types of collected information—notice will be given on the home page of the Site or by email.

Transfer of Data Outside Israel

We may send your data to jurisdictions beyond Israel. Privacy and data security laws in those jurisdictions may not be as comprehensive as Israel's laws. In such cases, we will take steps to ensure a similar standard of user data protection. You consent to such transfers.

Maintenance of Rights

The Company reserves the right to use data, details, and information for which there is no legal restriction in accordance with this Privacy Policy and you shall have no complaint, claim, or demand against the Company in this regard.
